When you login to the Prime Video app and get the main menu, scroll down to 'Your Channels' and it will show the channels you're subscribed to through Amazon such as StarzPlay, Shudder etc. You don't need to link anything. Amazon's Prime Video Channels is offering three months of STARZPLAY and other channels for free this Christmas.
Prime Video Channels is a platform for over 70 streaming services, each of which is available as a standalone subscription. The pick-and-mix approach allows live and on-demand streaming of a range of TV shows, sport and films without the need to sign up to a bundle or commit to a contract – the only requirement is an Amazon Prime membership (£79 a year or £7.99 a month) or Amazon Prime Video subscription (£5.99 a month).
For Christmas, Amazon is now offering a limited window to subcribe to hayu, STARZPLAY, Discovery or MGM channels for 3 months at no extra cost. With no contract needed, you can then stream for free Keeping Up With The Kardashians, The Real Housewives of New York City and Beverly Hills (via hayu), The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 & 2, Castle Rock and Counterpart (via STARZPLAY).
The deal, which went live at the end of this week, is perfectly timed for catching up with Counterpart, a mind-bending thriller starring J.K. Simmons that, at the time of writing, is airing its second season on Sundays.
